Tuesday Prayer

Nov 11, 2025

Welcome to daily prayer. This week we are reflecting on the LORD as Yahweh Tsidkenu which means the LORD, our righteousness. The Righteousness of God is God’s good character, his covenant faithfulness, and the gift he gives through Christ. Today we rejoice that God’s righteousness is at work through Christ to set the world right and bring life to all who trust Him. In the gospel, God’s saving power is revealed to all who believe, making us right with God and calling us to participate by faith as instruments of his righteousness and renewal in the world.

As we enter prayer now, let’s quiet our hearts and minds before the LORD.

LORD, I submit myself to you. You are my life and peace.

I resist every lie of the enemy that living for you is a waste of my life.

You are my life and peace. You have been so good to me.

I give everyone and everything to you.

O LORD, open my lips and my mouth will declare your praise.

A Scripture Reading from Romans 1:16-17:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel,

because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes:

first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—

a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,

just as it is written:

‘The righteous will live by faith.’”

A Prayer of Adoration:

LORD, I praise you for revealing Your righteousness through the gospel. What you have done to rescue us and make the world right is the best news. Jesus, you are the Saving King that was promised. I am so thankful that you are not only the Righteous Judge but you are the Savior of all who take refuge in you. You give salvation to all who believe. We were guilty, lost, powerless, and enslaved and you came to rescue us. LORD, You have delivered me from judgement and death and enabled me to receive grace and life and for that, I adore you.

A Prayer of Confession:

Forgive me for the times that I have been ashamed of the gospel. In light of all that you have done, it makes no sense and shows my need for renewal. Forgive me for seeking life and approval from the world rather than living by faith in you.

A Prayer of Trust:

LORD, I place my faith fully in the gospel. I believe that you are the answer, the solution, and all that I need. I reject every lie that I need to look somewhere else for life and I entrust myself to you alone. Jesus, you are my hope.

A Prayer of Intercession:

LORD, your salvation is available to anyone who believes. Would you give us eyes to see, in this season, who needs to hear the gospel.

Open a door of opportunity we pray, and give us the courage to step through that door.

Let us be people of faith, hope, and love who reflect and rejoice in your righteousness.

A Moment of Reflection:

Reflect on this truth:

The righteous live by faith, not by fear, works, or the approval of others. True life and strength come from trusting Christ alone.

LORD, I take refuge in you.

A Closing Prayer:

Lord, Thank you for the gospel that saves. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. Jesus, you are my righteousness and my salvation.

It’s in your name that I pray,

Amen
