Tuesday Prayer

Nov 4, 2025

Welcome to daily prayer. This week we are reflecting on the LORD as Yahweh Yireh which means the LORD will see to it or the LORD will provide. Today we rejoice that the LORD provides deliverance, refuge, and sustenance to those who trust him.

As we enter prayer now, let’s quiet our hearts to engage with the LORD.

Surrender:

Lord, I look to you. I rely on you. Provide me with what I need for today.

Lord, I let go of control and give everyone and everything to you.

O Lord, open my lips and my mouth will declare your praise.

A Scripture Reading from Psalm 34:4-10:

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

he delivered me from all my fears.

Those who look to him are radiant;

their faces are never covered with shame.

This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;

he saved him out of all his troubles.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,

and he delivers them.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;

blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

Fear the Lord, you his holy people,

for those who fear him lack nothing.

The lions may grow weak and hungry,

but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

A Prayer of Adoration:

Lord, I love that your glory radiates off of those who look to you. Those who seek you lack no good thing. Thank you for your goodness, faithfulness, and provision.You are our refuge, our joy, and our delight. In the face of fear and opposition, you call us to trust, just as Abraham and David did. You see, you hear, and you care for those who rely on you and for that, I adore you.

A Prayer of Confession:

Lord, I confess that there are times that I fear others but do not fear you or respect your ways. I have made you too small in my eyes. Forgive me.

Forgive me for allowing my mind to be worried and concerned about many things instead of looking to you and taking refuge in you. I choose the one thing needed today-You!

A Prayer of Trust:

Lord, I trust that you deliver and provide for those who take refuge in you. Those who seek you lack no good thing. You are the source of every good gift. I will not be ashamed of trusting you, and I know you uphold those who delight in you.

A Prayer of Intercession:

Lord, I pray for those I know in times of difficulty and trouble. May they not lose heart. Rescue them Lord! Would they taste your sustaining presence in the middle of their hardship. May your church radiate your goodness to those in times of need.

A Moment of Reflection:

Lord, would you show me if is there any area in my life where a problem has become too big because my view of you is too small?

Lord, I repent and take refuge in you.

A Closing Prayer:

Lord, cause your glory and your goodness to shine on me and be gracious to me today. I take refuge in you. You satisfy those who seek you with good things.

We join with David and say,

“I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together!”

Yahweh Yireh, we trust in you to provide and rely on your goodness!

In the name of Jesus,

Amen
