Wednesday Prayer

Sep 10, 2025

Welcome to daily prayer. Today we are reflecting on the blessing and strength that comes from God’s name. As we enter prayer now, let’s take a moment to quiet our hearts and minds before the Lord.

Lord, I give You my day, my thoughts, and my plans. I seek to dwell in Your presence and trust Your unchanging nature. I give everyone and everything to you.

“O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.”

A Scripture Reading from Numbers 6:24-27 –

“The Lord bless you

    and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you

    and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you

    and give you peace.”’

So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

A Prayer of Adoration:

Father, I praise You for being a God who does not change, a safe refuge for all who trust in You. Your name carries authority, blessing, and grace. I rejoice in knowing that I am invited to draw near to you.

A Prayer of Confession:

Forgive me, Lord, for doubting Your faithfulness or trying to rely on my own plans. Forgive me when I forget that you are my source of blessing, protection, grace and guidance.

A Prayer of Trust:

Father, I trust you to guard me and be gracious to me today. Your faithfulness is my hope. I trust that your favor is towards me in Christ and I stand in your grace.

A Prayer of Intercession:

I pray for those who feel abandoned or uncertain today. May Your faithful name bring comfort and assurance to their hearts. Let them experience Your presence and blessing in tangible ways.

A Moment of Reflection:

Lord, where do I most need to trust your faithfulness today? Would you show me if there is anything hindering me from resting in your grace?

Numbers 6:24-26

“The Lord bless you

    and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you

    and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you

    and give you peace.”’

Closing Prayer:

Thank You, Lord for blessing me and keeping me today. May your grace rest on me and may I rest in your peace. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
