Welcome to Daily Prayer.
Today is our Heart Check. We’re looking back at what we’ve prayed and asking God to help us see where we’ve responded, where we’ve struggled, and what he wants to continue to renew in us.
Father, today I give everyone and everything to you. Thank you for staying with me this week. Help me look honestly at my life with confidence in your mercy.

A Prayer of Confession
Father, this week we’ve been praying about living faith. What did I do with what you showed me? Is there something I’m still putting off? We prayed about noticing people’s needs. Did I make time to listen? Did I offer practical help, or did I move on? We asked for lives that reflect Jesus. How did I speak to the people closest to me? Is there something I need to make right?
Father, we also prayed about trust. Where did fear influence my decisions? Please help me face what you’re showing me. I’m sorry for the places I resisted you. I need your forgiveness. I need your help to respond differently. Thank you that Jesus has made a way for me to come honestly. Don’t let me waste this moment defending myself. Help me receive your mercy, and change my heart.
A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Father, thank you for every way you helped me this week. Where I followed through, thank you for giving me willingness. Where I noticed someone’s need, thank you for helping me pay attention. Thank you for the moments when I told the truth, apologized, or stopped before saying something hurtful. Where I took a step while I was still afraid, thank you for staying with me. Where I welcomed someone, thank you for making room in my heart. And where I failed, thank you that I can return to you now.
Jesus, you are my eternal hope. You gave yourself for me, you rose again, and the Good News you offer continues to change the world, including me. There is way more to life than just what my eyes can see. One day I will see you and share in the glory of your presence. Thank you for that future. Help me live today with gratitude for it. You are worthy of my trust, my love, and my obedience.
Closing Prayer
Father, thank you for this time with you. Help me carry forward what you’ve shown me. Give me one clear way to respond to you today, and help me follow through. Send me back to the people in my life with renewed hope, a grateful heart, and a willingness to love them well. In Jesus’ name, amen.
