Saturday - A Deeper Faith in the Year Ahead

2 Corinthians 5:7

WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Faith grows stronger in seasons of uncertainty, not comfort. When you enter a new year, you may not know what lies ahead—but faith isn’t about seeing the entire path. It’s about trusting the One who leads you.

Walking by sight means basing decisions on what feels safe or predictable. But walking by faith means leaning on God’s wisdom, obeying His voice, and trusting His timing—even when the way forward isn’t clear. Faith is a daily choice, a continual surrender, and a steady confidence that God is working behind the scenes.

This year, God may invite you to trust Him in new ways—to step into something unfamiliar, to release something comfortable, to grow in ways that stretch you, or to wait with patience when answers seem slow. Faith isn’t passive; it’s active dependence on God.

Let this year be the year your faith deepens—not because life got easier, but because you trusted God more.

PRAYER

Lord, I desire stronger faith this year. Grow me, stretch me, and lead me deeper into trust. Where doubt tries to weaken me, strengthen my belief. Where fear tries to distract me, anchor my heart in Your promises.

Help me walk by faith—not by my feelings, not by circumstances, and not by what I can see. Teach me to listen for Your voice, obey Your guidance, and trust Your timing.

Remove any barriers that keep my faith small. Replace hesitation with courage, uncertainty with confidence, and anxiety with peace. Let this year be marked by spiritual growth, deeper intimacy with You, and unshakeable faith in every season.

Over the next few moments, ask God to reveal any areas of life that you have been relying solely on your own strength and understanding. Ask Him to show you the ways He desires you to trust Him. Let go of control. Let go of comfort. Let go of needing to know the outcomes. Embrace the peace that comes from a life of faith, led by the Holy Spirit.
