Monday - Enter In - Day 1

Jan 5, 2026

This week we are reflecting on a life of gratitude—a gratitude that restores our vision, humbles our hearts, and widens our love.

May our eyes be opened to the mercy, grace, and goodness of God.

As we begin our prayer together, let’s quiet our hearts and minds before the LORD.

Surrender

Lord, I come to you to be restored. To have my vision renewed. I surrender my distractions, my hurry, and my self-reliance. I lay down all my preoccupations and anxieties. Lord, I open my heart fully to you and consecrate this day, this week, and myself to you. Teach me to see—clearly, truly, gratefully. I draw near to you, and I give everyone and everything to you.  O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.

A Scripture Reading from Psalm 103:1–5:

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

A Prayer of Adoration

Faithful God,

You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. I bless you today. You forgive my sin, heal my diseases, you’ve redeemed my life from the pit, and crown my life with goodness and mercy. You renew me and strengthen me. You have been so good to me and for that, I adore you.

A Prayer of Confession

Lord,

I confess that I often move through my days forgetful of you. I am forgetful and often listen to myself instead of reminding myself of who you are and all that you’ve done.

I allow worry, hurry, and self-sufficiency to dull my gratitude.

Forgive me for my forgetfulness. Cleanse my heart and renew my eyes to see.

A Prayer of Trust

Father, I trust that you are good. I trust your benefits are still active, still more than enough, still at work in me today. I belong to you and your goodness is available to me. I trust in you today and I say thank you.

A Prayer of Intercession

Lord, I lift before you those who begin this week weary, anxious, or discouraged.

Grant them strength for today. Make your goodness visible in their lives through provision, by the gift of peace. Use me this week as an instrument of your grace. Use me as an instrument to remind others that you are good and in you is life and many benefits.

A Moment of Reflection

LORD, is there any particular benefit or grace you have provided for me that I have not been seeing clearly?

A Closing Prayer

Praise the Lord my soul. All that is within me, praise his holy name. Lord, you are good. You are great and you have been so good to me. Teach me to remember Lord. Teach me to see. There is no one like you LORD. You are good and your love endures forever.

In the name of Jesus, Amen

We are spending this week focused on gratitude, feasting, and hospitality.

As we finish our time, ask the LORD to put one name on your heart this week to bless and welcome in some specific way.

Then let’s go about doing kingdom business!

The Lord be with you.
