Wednesday Prayer
WEEK 1 - GOD’S PROVISION: IT ALL BELONGS TO HIM
Day 3 - All Is Received, All Is Grace
-----
Welcome to Daily Prayer. Today we remember all is received, and all is grace.
1 Corinthians 4:5–7 (ESV)
“Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God. What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?”
-----
An Opening Prayer
Lord, You know my heart completely—my motives, my desires, my fears. I rest in Your presence and remember: all that I have is a gift.
A Prayer Of Adoration
You are the righteous Judge, the One who sees clearly and truly. You give every good gift—life, breath, wisdom, opportunity. You alone deserve praise and glory for all that is good in me.
A Prayer Of Confession
Forgive me, Lord, for comparing myself to others, for seeking recognition, and for boasting in what I’ve received as though I achieved it. Forgive the pride that creeps in when I forget grace, and the insecurity that comes when I crave human approval.
A Prayer Of Surrender and Trust
I release my need to be seen, measured, or approved by others. I trust that You see what is hidden and will bring to light what matters most. Let my confidence rest not in my performance, but in Your kindness and mercy.
A Prayer Of Intercession
Lord, teach me to celebrate the gifts You’ve given others. Make our community one of mutual honor, where grace—not competition—defines our relationships. Use my gifts to build up, not to impress; to serve, not to elevate.
A Closing Prayer
Thank You, Lord, for every grace I’ve received—salvation, calling, talents, and opportunities. I have nothing that did not come from You. Keep me humble, thankful, and free to live for Your glory.
