Wednesday - A Week of Prayers From the New Testament Led by the Children of Heritage Church
Welcome to Daily Prayer.
This week, we will pause and reflect on prayers from scripture.
A prayer from Romans 15:13.
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Help me to walk each day as a child of your kingdom.
Teach me to love what is good, true, and pleasing to you.
When I am afraid, remind me that I belong to you. When I fail, remind me that your forgiveness is greater than my sin.
Fill my heart with gratitude for your mercy and grace.
Let my life reflect the light of Jesus to the people around me.
Thank you,
in Jesus' name. Amen.
Prayers of gratitude and adoration:
God, I thank you that you are good. Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you that nothing I can do will make you love me less. Thank you that nothing I can do can make you love me more. Help me to see how great and big your love is for me.
God, I give you my whole heart. You are my king and my forever friend. I love you.
A closing prayer from Psalm 19:14:
"May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, oh Lord, my rock and my redeemer."
