You are dead.

That's the bad news.  I'm sorry, but the reality is that we're all dead inside.  When people talk about wanting to get their life together, be a better person, and maybe even go to church to become better, we need to know that we're misunderstanding the problem.  The problem isn't that you're a bad person.

The problem is that you're a dead person.

And if we're all spiritually dead, what does that mean?  It means we're separated from God, without any hope, and deserving of hell.  Remember Adam and Eve?  They disobeyed God and introduced sin to the world.  We were all born into a legacy of sin.  A legacy of death.

The bad news is you're already dead, and there's nothing you can do about it.

The good news is there's plenty God can do about it.

Turn from your path and walk with Him.

Turn from your path and walk with Him.

God gave Jesus Christ to us so that we could live again.  He knew that one sin (just one!) is enough to separate us from Him, because God is holy and perfect.  Sin cannot enter heaven, and will be burned and destroyed before the light of our perfect God.  That's not what he wants for us!

So when you believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross for you, rose from the dead for you, and took the power of death away from Satan, and when you turn away from the sinful path you're on and follow Him and what He says for you to do, you're coming back to life.

The Bible says that "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,  in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world...But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,  made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved." - Ephesians 2

So accept His love today, and turn to Him!  It's as simple as praying "Father God, I know I've sinned against you, and I want you to forgive me and save me in Jesus.  I choose to follow You, and do as You say.  I turn away from my sinful path, and I turn to your path instead.  Please forgive me and change me in Jesus name."

And then your journey begins!  If you've prayed that prayer, or if you want more information, we'd love to hear from you!  Just fill out the form below.
